Super Why! is a breakthrough preschool series designed to help children ages 3 to 6 with critical skills they need to learn and love to read.  Each episode is an interactive reading adventure starting with a problem that allows Super Readers to first find out how famous fictional characters handled similar situations.  Here’s a short clip from the show during which Wonder Red helps get the Frog Prince out of the tree:

The Super Why! online companion website helps kids learn key reading skills through interactive online games, activities, and more! While the site encourages independent play, parents and teachers can also experience the program so that they can  be involved in kids’ learning. The site offers tons of helpful information and reading resources, such as literacy tips and printable interactive worksheets.
Among five Super Why! lessons that extend the curriculum from specific episodes, you’ll find one lesson from “The Three Little Pigs Episode“, designed to help students practice letter identification and the alphabet, rhyming with common word families, letter sounds and spelling, vocabulary and reading comprehension — all while having fun coming to the pigs’ rescue.
