Earlier this summer, we announced the development of PBS LearningMedia, a resource that would create easy access to all the incredible lesson plans, resources, and programs that PBS provides to teachers.  This fall, we’re happy to bring you regular features of the great content you can experience on this site.

This week, check out PBS LearningMedia’s resource set on earthquakes.  Perfect for grades 3-12, this set of materials helps students explore the causes of earthquakes and their impact on the geology of an area and on human societies. You’ll find videos on plate tectonics, the making of a seismometer, an interactive that shows the anatomy of a tsunami and much more.
