Education Issues are the focus for this week on WGBY’s Connecting Point

Connecting Point

This week on WGBY’s Connecting Point, our programs will take a look at some of the interesting issues in local education.

Tonight, Correspondent Carloee McGrath visits a few towns through out the region and talks with school administrators, finance people and parents to find out how different cities and towns are handling the cuts that had to be made to their budgets and how this will impact the education of their children.

On Tuesday, November 15, Carrie Saldo sits down with Susan Hollins, Superintendent of Schools in Greenfield to discuss the “Virtual School at Greenfield”.  They are in their second year and this was the first Virtual School in the state.

On Wednesday, November 16, Carrie Saldo visits the BART Charter School in Adams, MA.  BART is a tuition-free, college prep charter school serving grades 6-12 in Berkshire County.

We hope you’ll tune in and see what people are talking about.  Connecting Point airs each night at 7:30pm on WGBY.
