Wildlife artist Joe Hutto tells his story of hatching wild turkey eggs and raising 16 chicks: how he became their ‘mother’ , bonded with them, learned their language and manners, and how difficult it was to let his “children” go when the time came. This true story, based on Hutto’s book, “Illumination in the Flatwoods”, shows how humans and animals can become more closely linked than nature normally allows.
