Educator Workshop Series: Teaching the Holocaust

The Teaching the Holocaust educator workshop series at the Lyman and Merrie Wood Museum of Springfield History is designed to introduce and promote the Springfield Museums’ new Holocaust school program.  The program is based on a local survivor exhibit that was donated to the museums when the Hatikvah Holocaust Education Center closed in 2010.

There’s still time to register for the first workshop, a survivor panel discussion, on October 22 when you’ll join local survivors and experts as they examine Springfield’s connection to the Holocaust and how the Holocaust’s legacy continues to affect us all today.  For more information about each workshop in the  series and registration details, you can call 413.263.6800, ext. 322, or visit the Springfield Museums’ website.
