The fast pace of life today could very well be responsible for the increase in autism among children. Autism is the fastest rising developmental disorder in the industrialized world. Research has been frustratingly inconclusive, but the emerging theme is that autism is triggered by the environment, not heredity, and that our toxic lifestyle is now proving too much for children to bear.
