Have a great math activity or idea? WGBH is looking to videotape great middle school math teachers (about 36 in total).  There are three opportunities for you to be filmed and showcase your great activity: (1) NCTM Regional Baltimore from October 16-18, (2) Association of Teachers of Mathematics in New England, Killington, VT from Oct 24–25, and (3) NCTM Regional Louisville from November 6-8.   All selected finalists will be seen on PBS LearningMedia.  Here are the details:

Who: Math educators who are knowledgeable about middle school math and CCSS

What: Share your great 2-6 minute long middle school math activity.; should be engaging and imaginative (no talking heads); can use props (manipulatives, tinker toys, white board, etc.).

Where: (1) NCTM Regional Conference in Baltimore from October 16-18, (2) Association of Teachers of Mathematics in New England, Killington, VT from Oct 24–25 or (3) NCTM Regional Conference in Louisville from November 6-8

How: WGBH will follow up with interested educators to help you think through your activity or idea.

Honorarium:  Finalists will receive $100
