Since February is Black History Month, we hope to post resources for you throughout the month.  Here’s one about a  very motivated person hoping to put an end to the month-long celebration through his documentary film, More Than a Month.  African-American filmmaker Shukree Hassan Tilghman sets out on a cross-country campaign to end Black History Month. vHis motivation is to find out whether relegating African American history to one month a year and separating it from American history on the whole denigrates the role of black people and black culture throughout American history.  Could be a great topic for discussion or writing.  Borrow More Than a Month (I.D.2356) for a month by clicking here.
