Turning to Spring: An Amazing Look at Bees and Flowers

macro-beeIf spring’s not quite in the air, perhaps your thoughts are turning to things spring — spring lessons, spring trips, springs flowers!  As we thaw out from winter’s chill, for bees and flower this season is about one thing: feeding and fertilizing.  How Bees Can See the Invisible shows that bees are amazing social insects and their relationship with flowers is one of nature’s coolest examples of “mutualism.”  This relationship got Joe Hanson, host of It’s Okay to be Smart, wondering: How do bees see the world?
