Read! Reading Success by 4th Grade, an initiative of the Irene E. and George A. Davis Foundation, announces a social media campaign – #413reads — to show and share the importance of families reading together. You and members of students’ families can take a photo reading to a child and share your reading story. To participate, people should post a photo of themselves or someone they know reading to a child via Twitter, Instagram or Facebook AND INCLUDE #413reads in the post. Once a month, a $50 Pride gas card will be awarded to someone who has posted a photo.
