The mission of the Commonwealth Corps is to engage Massachusetts residents of all ages and backgrounds in service to strengthen communities, address unmet community needs, and increase volunteerism. A few host sites across the state are still accepting applications for Commonwealth Corps Members to serve full-time or half-time from 8/14/14-6/27/15.  Member benefits include: the opportunity to make a difference, a heavy focus on member development, a stipend, a completion award, health insurance (for full-time members only), and the opportunity to join with others with a common sense of purpose as part of the Commonwealth Corps.

Interested Massachusetts residents (18 or older) should apply directly to their host site(s) of interest ASAP.

Although most positions have been filled, there are still a handful of opportunities available with the following local partners:
• Lutheran Social Services (Full-time; Workforce Development; West Springfield)
• Raising A Reader MA, Inc. (Full-time; Early Education; Greater Boston, Lawrence, or Springfield)
• Veritas Preparatory Charter School (Full-time; Education; Springfield)
