On Monday, October 27, and again on Friday, October 31, from 8:00 – 9:00am, WGBY airs Curious George: A Halloween Boo Fest and new episodes. Because active learning begins with curiosity, this No. 1 show among households, kids 2-5, kids 2-11 and moms, provides strong motivation for children to learn science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) skills with a beloved character. Throughout the year, PBS KIDS offers resources for the classroom and homeat a variety of sites. The PBS KIDS Lab includes Curious George’s Busy Day, games for computer, tablets, interactive whiteboard games and mobile devices. And now at the Curious George website, you’ll find games in Spanish.
PBS Learning Media has the Curious George STEM Collection to help young children understand STEM concepts, such as measuring, building, and simple machines. Lesson plans with Curious George videos offer hands-on investigations and exciting new learning opportunities that will inspire children to explore the world around them.
