A NY Times article in September,”‘Sesame Street’ Widens Its Focus” by Elizabeth Jensen, looks at Sesame’s focus on nature, science, math and engineering for pre-readers.  Now in its 45th year, Sesame Street has long respected the intelligence and ability of young minds and has earned 159 Emmy Awards and 8 Grammy Awards – the most of any other children’s show.
