“Gross Science,” New YouTube Series from NOVA

NOVA and PBS Digital Studios are launching “Gross Science,” an original new YouTube series. This weekly digital series will explore the world of science through disgusting and bizarre stories pulled straight from natural history, medicine, and engineering.   The 40-episode series will explore the world of science through disgusting and bizarre stories pulled straight from nature, medicine, engineering, and other STEM fields. “Paradoxically, I find the most beauty and wonder in science when I examine its slimy, smelly, creepy underbelly,” says NOVA Digital Producer and GROSS SCIENCE host Anna Rothschild.

Each of the 40 gut-churning episodes is two-to-three minutes long and will premiere weekly on the Gross Science YouTube channel.  The first three episodes, one of which appears at the start of this post, have just been released and can be found here.  You’ll also find several related resources and many additional NOVA resources at PBS LearningMedia.
