Is it any surprise that this composed and articulate girl, Rain Adams, is one of the winners of the fourth annual Healthy Lunchtime Challenge that we shared with you back in April?  When WGBH teamed up with First Lady Michelle Obama and the U.S. Departments of Education and Agriculture to host the Challenge, kids and parents were invited to create original recipes that could be served at The White House this summer.  As we learn in this video clip, almost 1000 entries were received, and Rain Adams  will be among 55 children enjoying a Kids “State Dinner” with Michelle Obama on July 10 in our nation’s capital.
