Meet Me in DC — Student Poster Contest

We recently shared Michelle Obama’s Invitation to The 5th Annual Healthy Lunchtime Challenge.  In this election year we have another challenge that will send two student winners, each accompanied by a guest, to D.C. to see Congress in session, tour the White House, visit the set of PBS NewsHour, and more.

As part of PBS’ ELECTION CENTRAL– an Educational Guide to the US Elections — students in kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to design an election poster focusing on issues that are important in their local communities.  Students who would like to apply can design their own poster, or use PBS LearningMedia’s poster design tool. The official rules for Meet Me in DC contest are available online, and students have until March 31st to enter.

To enter, students can visit the MEET ME IN DC website.
