Arts|Learning’s Networking and Advocacy Group (formerly the Massachusetts Alliance for Arts Education) recognizes individuals, organizations, institutions and businesses that exemplify excellence in arts education advocacy. Arts|Learning is now accepting Massachusetts nominations for the following prestigious award categories:
- Distinguished Arts Educator Advocate (in dance, drama, media arts, music, or visual arts)
- Kathy Tosolini Excellence in School Administration Arts Advocate
- Outstanding Parent Advocate
- Outstanding Community Arts Collaborative (in dance, drama, media arts, music, or visual arts)
- Corporate/Business Support of Arts Education
- Outstanding Student Advocate
- Schools of Distinction
- School Committee Arts Advocate
- Good Neighbor
Self nominations are accepted, and you don’t have to be an A|L member to nominate or receive an award. Awardees will receive their award at the Awards Ceremony in early June. The deadline for nominations is fast approaching: April 30, 2016. Learn more at the Arts|Learning website.
