Little wonder why Arthur is the longest-running program on PBS KIDS! While maintaining the show’s consistent high quality, the Arthur team at GBH in Boston uses compelling issues of our day to motivate characters and inform story lines. (Case in point is the show’s recent themes on antiracism and COVID.)
In addition, the program continues to provide digital resources that challenge kids to learn while having fun. Three new Arthur digital games have launched on the ARTHUR website:
- TOWER OF COWS (D.W.’s favorite game), where players stack cows in a series of increasingly difficult challenges;
- MUFFY’S PARTY PLANNER gives players the chance to join Muffy in designing parties, paying close attention to the clients’ needs; and
- KINDERGARTEN HELPERS lets players follow the Elwood City kindergarten kids’ preferences to create a fun school experience for all.
These games and many others are also available for free on the PBS KIDS game app.
Long may Arthur continue to motivate our children to learn and inspire them to be good people!
