NPR’s Student(grades 5-12) and College Podcast Challenges are both open for applications!  These challenges have introduced more than 40,000 students to the world of public radio and audio storytelling, with entries that are relevant to their lives.

Students in grades 5-12 can create a podcast, and then — with the help of a teacher — compete for a chance to win a grand prize and have their work appear on NPR.   Learn about official rules , submission guidelines and more here. Submissions are due March 21st, 2022.

College students are challenged to create a podcast — about anything they want! — and compete for a chance to have their work appear on NPR and win a $5,000 scholarship!  They can check out the official rules, submission guidelines and more here. Submissions are due February 28th, 2022.
